Seema Sharma is a licensed acupuncturist, Diplomat of Oriental Medicine, NCCAOM Board Certified. She graduated Summa Cum Laude, and received her Master’s in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Houston, Texas. After completing her training, she volunteered at the ACAOM clinic for 2 years and was also associated with the Wellness Center at Rice University treating faculty, staff and students. Prior to her studies in Chinese Medicine, she completed her Medical Degree from India and has been in the healthcare industry for over 20 years and has done extensive clinical research in various fields of medicine. Her voracious appetite to constantly learn new and innovative techniques in her profession keeps her on the path to success. Her background of Western and Eastern Medicine give her an edge to understand and incorporate the two philosophies in her practice and to treat her patients holistically.

She is one of the first few practitioners nationwide, who has been trained in the “gold standard” constitutional facial rejuvenation acupuncture, a unique cutting edge and intensive 2 year post graduation certification program through the Chi Akra Institute.

She has also studied under Dr. Martha Lucas, founder of the Mei Zen Institute of Cosmetic Acupuncture as part of her post graduate training in cosmetic acupuncture. Her professionalism and expertise, along with her gentle demeanor and compassion for her clients make her one of the most sought after practitioners in her field.
